Did you know?
In the early 1900’s, these same orchards were part of the largest
cherry producer in the world. The staff was so large, a Post Office
was set up for the orchards since the Sturgeon Bay Post Office was
unable to accommodate it on its own!
Did you know?
An average Door County cherry tree produces about 7,000 cherries,
which would make about 28 yummy pies!
Experience this fun Door County custom and bring the whole family to pick your own tart cherries!
